Sailor Moon Super S UFO Catcher Plush Banpresto 1996

The last set of Sailor Moon plush that I have, the Super S set with the inner senshi and the Amazoness Quartet. It was released in 1996 by Banpresto and is a whopping set of 10: Super Sailor Moon, Chibi Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, VesVes, CereCere, PallaPalla, JunJun.

We'll start with the quartet, here's the full group of girls.

And individually...:

VesVes is a bit hard to photograph, because her pony tail is really huge and stiff. However, she is really cute!! I like all the little felt details.

JunJun, very cute as well! I really like all of the Quartet. I like that the materials used are mostly the kind that stand the test of time provided you take care of the plush well.

PallaPalla, how cute is she? Look at all those materials! Felt, string, shimmery semi opaque, plastic, coated fabric, felt, paint transfer (bracelet). Really impressive to me. (Pallapalla SOLD)

CereCere... soooo adorable!! 100% cute.

Here is all the inner senshi and the Moons. I forgot to take a photo but perhaps you noticed that again there's pictures of the set on the back of the tag? A lot of time as well when there's no picture of who the set consists of there's at least a little note in the top right or left corner of the tag that tells how many there are in the set (this says 10 in the upper left corner).

Super Sailor Moon with her wand, made of hard plastic. As I said before I'm not really a fan of the hard plastic but at least it stands the test of time. I like the jewels on her bow and waist <3 SOLD

Sailor Chibi Moon, looking rather cute! Again a plastic accessory. I do think she's exceptionally cute in this plsh and has a nice face. SOLD

Jupiter, Mars, Mercury, Venus. All looking very cute! Much like the outer senshi in the Stars 1 set, I feel these have similar expressions and they go together very well. I think you can see it best on Jupiter, but they've all got a little blush on their cheeks. I think Jupiter is especially cute and I love that Mars has a talisman with her.

Not for sale, posted for posterity.

Edit: Set is now for sale. Prices seem all over the map, saw PallaPalla and CereCere sell for around $70, they seem to range from $55-75 each. The inner senshi I'm not completely sure, perhaps $30-45? I feel like with plushies, for me, depends on the shape they're in, their tags, and how they look/are sewn. No one wants a mushy awkward face plushie LOL

Super Sailor Moon, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Mercury, Chibi Moon, PallaPalla SOLD

Sailor Moon Sailor Stars Series 2 UFO Plush Banpresto 1996

The second (and final) Sailor Moon Sailor Stars set by Banpresto, made in 1996. As of writing this, this plush set is 16 years old. Can you believe that!? 16!! It just blows my mind...

Anyhow, unlike the first Stars set which consisted of 5 plush, this one has 6: Starlights (Maker, Healer, Fighter), Eternal Moon, ChibiChibi, and Chibichibi Moon. I am a huge Star Fighter fan, so I was really glad to get this set from... Hitoshi Doi! Hahaha funny how things come full circle like that. In 1996, the internet was newer and Doi had one of the only Sailor Moon websites, and when he posted a picture of Eternal Sailor Moon my friends and I lost our minds (we only had up to R in the states at that point). I think it fitting I acquired this set from Doi, since he was the one that made me realize that Sailor Stars even existed.

Nice little story, but moving on...

...the Starlights in question. I am going to post more pictures than I probably need to of these guys, and also possibly larger than some of the other pictures on my blog, just because they're great.

About note plushie aging: The material they used for their outfits is a bit odd, I've seen it peeling on lots of auctions or damaged in some way. Mine are intact, but I take care to wrap them in a cotton tshirt and make sure their tags aren't touching them when they are in storage. I find plush that have coated fabric like this sometimes have a slight odor, much like when I open up my figure cabinet it smells heavily of PVC.

Here is Sailor Star Maker / Taiki, looking a bit more haughty than maybe he was meant to ^_^;;. I like how they were attentive to her eyebrow shape as well. (SOLD)

Sailor Star Healer / Yaten. Hahaha, looking rather spritely. Nice color that they chose for her eyes. I think the little pony tail in the back is so cute! (SOLD)

Saved the best for last, apparently! Here is Sailor Star Fighter / Seiya. She looks great, doesn't she?? I love her face. I've seen a few of these at auction and I feel that for this set there was some quality control lacking. Many of their faces seem squished or skewed in some way, but I'm glad my Starlights looks immaculate. (SOLD)

Putting all the Chibichibis together. She's really cute, and they made her smaller so it works well with Eternal Moon. I like the face on Chibichibi better than the over exuberant Sailor Chibichibi, but still they're both adorable. Chibi Chibi school uniform SOLD

Another Eternal Sailor Moon, this time she's got a wink and her wand. I do like that the wand isn't hard plastic. I've seen wands from so many different plushies, and I feel it works best this way, as a sturdier felt doubled up. The hard plastic ones look too detailed in comparison to the plush to me, and the ones that are hard and just have a picture printed on them tend to peel.

Full set picture, and tag (you know how I love it when there's a picture of the set on the tag XD).

For pricing, it depends on who is bidding/buying. The Starlights I see selling damaged in the $40-50 range, like new for $65+. Eternal Moon around the $45-65 range, the same with the Chibichibis. I saw the whole set sell on ebay recently for around $450 Buy it Now or something crazy like that (though I suppose it probably felt nice for that person to get them all in one go).

Edit: I saw a chibi chibi sell recently on ebay for $80. I think sailor moon fever has come back full force, surely. I am now selling this set. The prices seem to only be going up on them, Sailor Moon nostalgia is definitely in full swing.

STARLIGHTS SOLD 12/9/12
Chibichibi school uniform SOLD, Sailor Chibi Chibi Moon SOLD, Eternal Sailor Moon SOLD

Edit: Wow, prices keep climbing for these. I'm seeing just the starlights going for hundreds together, Eternal moon and the chibis the same, prices seem to be now $100-110/ea.

Sailor Moon Sailor Stars UFO Catcher Plush Series 1 Banpresto 1996

I don't have too many Sailor Moon plush as I don't like the look of the majority of them. However, I do have 3 sets that I really love and this is one of them.
This set is from the Sailor Stars series, released in 1996 by Banpresto. A set of 5, consisting of the outer senshi (Pluto, Uranus, Neptune, Saturn) and Eternal Sailor Moon. I know the set with the outer senshi holding their weapons is very popular, but I don't think they're as charming as this set (personally speaking).

Ahh, she is so cute!! There were 2 Eternal Moon plush made (the second being in the set after this one, the Sailor Stars series II plush) and this is definitely my favorite. A sweet smile, waving, lots of happy energy. I like the material of wings, and the 3 layer skirt is too adorable!

Sailor Neptune, looking very charming! It's hard to tell, but she's got some blush on her cheeks.

Sailor Uranus, looking high spirited and winking!

I really like this Pluto, I think she is just lovely! Her colors are wonderful and I like her eyes.

Sailor Saturn, soooo adorable!!! Her look is a bit different than from the SuperS sets with the weapons. As I said, I definitely prefer the cuteness of these over the weapons set. I'm also not really partial to a hard plastic accessory attached to a plushie, so my preference for this set makes a fair amount of sense.
Gosh, isn't she just the cutest!? >w<

Full set picture. Aren't they just lovely together? A cute, happy feeling.

For prices, I've seen them range on ebay. Most of them sell for $35-55+ depending on who is bidding/sees the auction. These are not for sale at the moment, not sure if I will sell them or not. If I do, it will be when all the other plush are gone and these are all that remain.

Edit: A set of these just sold on ebay for a whopping $339.99!! If people are willing to pay so much, who am I to stop them from buying them from me, that's for sure! Moonies, I now pronounce these for sale.

Edit: Set is SOLD.

Naruto Yawaraka / Soft UFO Plush 2005 Banpresto

The last Naruto set that I have, other than some special Jump Festa ones (and a random Anbu Kakashi and Itachi). The tag on this one says 'Yawaraka' which means soft. It was released by Banpresto in 2005. Their legs fold and they can sit with little beanie butts... naturally, I love them! This is one of my favorite sets.

Gamakichi! Bring on the animals. Really nice quality here, nice material choices, I like the stitching, and you can make him sit really well. Tempting to cosplay as Naruto and put this lil' guy right on your head or shoulder! SOLD

Another animal, Pakkun. Tempting to cosplay as Kakashi and put him on your head ahaha! He's very cute, and I appreciate that his nose isn't stitched, it's a little piece of plastic.

Where there's Pakkun, there's Kakashi. Right? Cute as ever, his little jacket rides up a little ehehe.

Naruto looking really cute and perfect <3. I like his round face and whole outfit. He looks so happy and peppy.

This Sasuke is probably tied for my favorite with that DX Ichiban Kuji raffle one. We get him in an outfit he's rarely seen in, and I really love him in black. His hair and face is just right, and he looks supper cute sitting down and hanging out with Naruto.

See? Aren't they cute sitting down?

Not sure on pricing, need to do some research. All Gamakichi SOLD $35
