I'm now on Instagram!

That's right folks, I'm on Instagram now. I decided it would be fun to have a place I could post photos of things I'll be selling before I post them here, ebay, myfigurecollection, what have you. Also it will be a look into other things I'm trying to relocate to new homes that are collectibles other than plushies, such as prize figures, scale figures, promo posters, furoku, and random stuff.

Please follow me on instagram if this interests you! And of course you can always reach me at jesssellsherstuff@gmail.com, on myfigurecollection, or on ebay.

Keep collecting!

Shaman King Ufo Catcher Plush Banpresto 2001

A Shaman King set of 5 was made by Banpresto in 2001, and though admittedly I've always wanted to read Shaman King, I've never gotten around to it. I bought these plushies because they are SO AWESOME and I didn't want to get into the series and not have them. Fast forward 14 years later, and here I am. Shaman King, I promise I will read you soon!!

Altogether, this is one of the nicest, most impressive plush sets I've ever seen from Banpresto in my collecting, and that is saying a lot.

Here is a picture of the set. Clockwise from the left is Yoh, Anna, Ren, Horo Horo, and Manta.

Yoh looks awesome. This plushie is AMAZING! The detail always astounds me on him. His headphones, his outfit, his hair, the fabrics! SOLD

Look at that! So much detail!

He's got a little peeling going on on his glove but otherwise is in tip top shape!

Anna looks great with her thicker fabric dress, sandals and beads. Her bandana even comes off!

Horo Horo's proportions are a bit different than the others, but his details are just as nice. I find his hair very interesting, and the fabric on his jacket has held up surprisingly well!

Look at the hair! How funny and interesting. It's always surprising how spiky hair is done from set to set.

Tiny hairline crack as well as some cosmetic scrape that's always been there since I got him.

Ren also has wonderful details on his outfit and accessories. SOLD

It's like a tattoo through his shirt, great attention to detail and fantastic execution.

Tiny hairline crack but in better shape than Yoh's.

A little cracking going on on his right foot.

Manta looking accurate but definitely not as flashy as the others! SOLD

I have no idea on pricing currently, I remember them being very expensive at one point (over $100 for Yoh, Ren, and Horo Horo) and then dropping to semi-reasonable prices ($25-85 range, Manta being the lowest, Anna being middle range and then the other boys being on the high end). Because they are rare now maybe their prices would be high on auction, I am really not sure.

Edit: Tao Ren is SOLD, Manta SOLD, Yoh SOLD
Edit: At the end of August I saw Horo Horo and Anna I think on ebay from a Japanese seller, they were asking $95-99/ea if I remember correctly. However, their plush were in worse condition, with much peeling on Horo Horo. So, perhaps pricing hasn't changed too much in the last decade?

X/1999 CLAMP UFO Catcher Plush SEGA 1996

Someone was asking after these so I thought, "better add them now before they're gone!"

Admittedly, I had to pull out my Nobuteru Yuki X genga doujinshi to get my memory jogging after these names. These plushies were released in conjunction with the (beautifully animated) 1996 movie, not the later anime series. The set is a whopper with 10 plushies in it! We'll start with Kamui and his Dragons of Heaven.

EDIT: I snuck in a picture of the full set before I sold off one of them. I like these full set pictures :-)

Just a reminder, these plushies are from 1996. So, pretty old at this point. There is some yellowing of the eye decals on them but overall they held up remarkably well. Not many fancy materials, just some decals and painted felt. Kamui has a little glue on his hair, but I feel he's one of the best looking of the set (but I like Kamui's design, so I'm a bit biased I suppose). He has a hairline scratch on his right eye, I got him that way.

Arashi, looking rather cool and collected (not unlike how Kamui appears). It would be odd to have these characters smiling, when I think about it? Again, yellowing on these eyes but overall held up extremely well!

...And where there's Arashi, there's Sorata, right? Am I remembering correctly? Goodness I'm feeling my age. I've been meaning to reread the manga, now is as good a time as any. If you haven't noticed, the tags on these are lovely! Crimson red with Kamui looking at you. Anyhow, Sorata is no exception to holding up well, with a bit of decal yellowing.

Yuzuriha! And of course she's got her giant (wolf?) dog with her. At least she's smiling! Probably one of the more detailed plush in this set due to the animal, her hair, pleated skirt and bow. SOLD

A sign of age, the glue has definitely changed color. Hmm, seems like Kamui's only got youngsters batting for him... let's see if I can remedy that!

How about Aoki Seiichirou? With an exciting... office folder accessory? Some minor yellowing but looking good. SOLD

Lastly Subaru Sumeragi. His outfit threw me off, I remember him in completely different clothing. He probably has the most yellowed decals out of the lot, but still very much intact. SOLD

And on to Dragons of Earth, starting with Fuuma. He's looking rather austere, but a good face shape, nothing warped or sewn badly there. Some aging to the decals.

Seishirou looking pretty cool haha, and with a companion. Decals held up marvelously well. SOLD

Satsuki, a nice touch with her hands in her pockets, that may make her a bit more of an intricate plush as well. Yellowing of decals but overall great. SOLD

Lastly there is the lovely Kotori, not to be mixed in with the dragons. I am glad she is in the set!! Overall in this set I am sad there is no Nataku, Karen, or Hinoto. When I think about it, Karen might have looked silly and perhaps Hinoto would have been too complicated. SOLD

I vaguely remember some pricing for these. Kamui was around $45, Fuuma a bit less ($35-40 range?), Arashi, Sorata, and Yuzuriha around $30-45, Satsuki and Subaru around $20-25, Seiichirou around $20, Kotori around $40, and Seishirou being randomly expensive, around $65-85. For pricing reference I'm putting their sales prices below for those that want to have a pricing point for their own. Most of this set sold immediately (Kotori, Seishiro x 2, Yuzuriha, Aoki, Satsuki) on ebay, Subaru and Kamui were sold through the blog.

Edit: SUBARU $40, KOTORI $55, AOKI $45,  YUZURIHA $60, SEISHIRO $60, SEISHIRO w/o tag and bird peeling $45, Satsuki $40 SOLD, KAMUI SOLD, FUUMA SOLD. Others have been listed on ebay, I have one extra Seishiro without tag

Edit: Only Sorata and Arashi are left

General List of Sets and Availability - updated 12/2/16

I strongly suggest you check this post before e-mailing me an inquiry. I keep getting emails with requests for items that have been crossed off this page and marked as sold on their blog pages. I kindly ask that people read the posts before inquiring.

I just wanted to update with a list of sets that I have or that I've listed (in alphabetical order), for reference for what I have 'in stock' haha. I'm still going through boxes so I will update this if I find something else that I haven't listed (mostly just odds and ends, One Piece and Bleach at this point).

Trying to keep this list updated whenever I sell! Please note that I try to stick by the (figures and plushie) community etiquette of having the buyer send money as a gift or pay the paypal fee. I do appreciate it! I do not accept paypal chargebacks if you don't get your item/it is lost in shipping/damaged if you do not purchase insurance (though this has not happened to me yet, everything has arrived safely, I like to mention it). I'm not a business, just a collector looking for good new homes for my collection.

Edit: Instead of calculating a paypal fee I've simply been asking people to send a dollar or two towards the fee on small purchases or adding it in to the price. If there are a lot of items or the set is expensive I will calculate a fee and factor that into pricing. As of now I am NOT holding items for any amount of time longer than a few days due to people leaving me hanging. I like to get items packed and shipped ASAP so I don't have packages without labels strewn about, forgetting what's in them or notes all over them. Thank you for your understanding!

Inuyasha Series 1 UFO Catcher Plush 2001

This was my first plush set!! Set consists of Inuyasha, Kagome, Shippo and Miroku.

This is one of my favorite plushies. Ever. Maybe because it's one of my first, but to me, he's perfect. The details are fantastic from his little black string to his bow and his necklace, plus his kimono shoulder cutouts. I sold this set a little while ago, and I wrestled a lot over keeping just Inuyasha. However, if I'm not strong enough to give them up then I'll just end up keeping everything. I also tend to be more likely to give up plushies I care for if someone wants to take the whole set, and keep the 'family' together. I meet so many great, avid collectors through this blog and their excitement to own my plush makes me so happy. I know he is appreciated in his new home, but darn I miss him.

I have to say, if I found him tomorrow, I would buy him again. Just him. There are only about 4-5 plushies I am determined to keep, and he was on that list and I gave him up.

It's safe to say I adore this whole set. Kagome, to me, is probably the least favorite of the set but still a great representation of her and keeping in style with the rest of the set and Takahashi's style.

Shippo. SO ADORABLE!! His bow is a velvety fuzzy type of material. His string across his waist holds his vest in place, and his top looks wonderful. He is bright and energetic looking. You can't see it from the picture but his tail is HUGE and fluffy, his hair bow puffy and full.

Miroku, with a great pose, taking off his seal beads. I like this one SO MUCH MORE than the one with his staff (from series 2). Very cool design they chose for him. This whole set is just awesome.

This whole set has sold and is not available.

Inuyasha DX UFO Catcher Plush Banpresto 2002

And so begins the onslaught of Inuyasha plush. This is a DX "Deluxe" 12" set that came out in 2002. The set has Inuyasha, Kagome, and Shippo in it. I sold a lot of my Inuyasha plush so I don't have a group shot of these guys.

Inuyasha looking pretty cute here! Unfortunately his sword is peeling a lot in different places. I've seen this with a lot of Inuyasha swords, and also I see his 'fangs' on his necklace peeling/separating from the center layer as well. That hasn't happened on this plushie though! Just the sword :-/ SOLD

Here you can see his fancy tush tags and nice stitched fingers.

Kagome looking wonderful with her bow and her smile. I LOVE her fingers around that bow! It looks like she's really gripping it, doesn't it? (SOLD)

Back shot of her arrows and skirt.

Shippo, looking very good in his outfit with vest, bow and top.

Again, that fancy DX tush tag!! I love how his tail is a total fuzzball. Also for Shippo they stuffed his bows to some degree so they have a nice look to them.

I'll close things up with a picture of the DX paper tag.

I've sold 1 Shippo (I had 2 for some reason), and Kagome already. Kagome sold for $45, Shippo for $35. I'm not sure if those prices are accurate, but that's what I sold them for I guess!!

Inuyasha, Shippo, Kagome SOLD

Hikaru no Go UFO Catcher Plush Banpresto 2002

Hey, this is my 50th post (according to my website stats)! Yup. Anyway...

This is a plush set that was released by Banpresto in 2002 from the series Hikaru no Go. The set consists of 5 characters: Sai, Hikaru, Akira, Isumi, and Waya. This series holds a special place in my heart, I remember picking up the manga in Asahiya in NYC between One Piece and a new series called Naruto and wondering how exciting a series about Go could be. Naturally, I loved it, and Obata's art blew me away (I actually got to meet him recently and got 2 autographs)!!

On to the plushies.

Starting with Sai!

Beware, there are DX knock-off plush of Sai, so be careful! This one is only 8" tall. Sai is a wonderful and lovable character and I'm glad this plush captured his energy. He's got a spot on his sleeve he always had since I got him (urgh) and a few pricing stickers on his tag.

Hikaru, the namesake of the series. He's got his telltale sneakers on and a go piece in his fingers. His sneaker fabric looks OK but has a small dot that is worn.

He's even got a hoodie on!! Very cute detail.

Akira, Hikaru's rival (and one of my favorite characters ^o^). His hair is a green-gray color and he's got his hand in a fist behind his back (what a poised young man!).

Unfortunately he's got some shoe peeling :-(

Isumi, a member of the Go team. His shoe coating is looking dappled, and the shoes are stuck together :-(

Starting to get annoyed at the peeling as of late. I guess it becomes inevitable in a way over time.

Waya... In all honesty, I forgot his name and had to whip out a manga. I found it flabbergasting that I remembered all the names from Fushigi Yuugi, and Fruits Basket (which I never even ended up finishing) but for some reason I couldn't remember Waya, a character from one of my favorite mangas that I have read at least 3 times. I'm sorry, Waya. On the bright side, his shoes look fine!

For pricing I don't know, I don't see them on ebay but I'll have to check back. I know Sai was the big seller from this set at least in the $40 range, and the others in the $15-25 range but I'm just guessing at prices from over a decade ago. So basically pricing is a big question mark.

UPDATE: Akira sold for $25, Waya sold for $15
