Here I sit, a bit heartbroken because I just listed my Sailor Moon DX plush on ebay. It's just time, I think. I actually bought a special plastic tote to keep them in these past 11 years, and it's just sad that that's been their home. I take them out and so many memories come rushing back, and the pride from owning such rare, desired plush.
But, even after I sold my Star Locket on ebay, one of my favorite things, and now these plush, I have kept this:
My Usagi-Sailor-Moon-chan and wand. I hope someday, if I have a daughter, it will have been worth keeping them to see the magic that they might bring her. I'm also keeping my 1000 Editions limited print I have of all the senshi together.
I've been drawing random sketches for people that win Sailor Moon/plush auctions, though it depends on how much time I have. So dear is Sailor Moon to my heart. Here's one of my favorites, as I will forever be Serenity obsessed:
With that, goodnight. Good luck to anyone that is wanting a plush, and is going to bid. Please, please love them <3

Slayers UFO Catcher Prize Plush set Banpresto 1995
Here is the Slayers plush set, which is sooo oldddd (16 years):
Lina, Gourry, Rezo.
I really think I got a great Gourry! Sometimes you get a plush and their face shape is off, but I think Gourry is perfect. Gorgeous Gourry:
These plush are so dated, you can tell by the materials used. In all honesty, though, I kind of like it! Lina's got a little rip in her tag, though.
Naga (SOLD $30), Ameria, Zelgadis (SOLD $50).
Zelgadis is the most desired of this set by far, and one of my favorites in my collection. There's just something about him. My friend thought so, too, and I think it's the common consensus as he goes for the most money. I remember him going for around $75-80 a few years ago, but I never see him for sale now so I have no idea. Again, I got a great one with a perfect face as well. Lucky!
Naga is really well sewn, her boobs are hilarious and she's got a great attention to detail. I love her necklace, shoulder pads, expression.
Her tag is a bit creased, though. However, it's amazing her red headband gem is intact and perfect. I have sailor moon plush where the gems are peeling, falling off, etc. But Naga is aging splendidly! Must be that hearty laugh of hers...
I really, really like this set. Rezo is meh, and Ameria isn't the best, but the rest are fantastic. That Zelgadis, he's bewitching, or something. I love the old materials, and that these plush look BRAND NEW. This was before they starting gluing hair to itself to make layers and using fancy plastics and iron-ons. So these plush don't fall victim to a lot of the downfalls of those materials. If their gems had been made out of different things, if there had been metallic materials used for their armor, it would have been a different story. But not back then. These were made in 1995, and I'd say '96 is around when fancy materials starting showing up, like the Sailor Moon Starlights.
Naga, Zelgadis, Rezo SOLD

Nana x Nana UFO Catcher Plush Prize Banpresto (Ai Yazawa)
Here is the Nana x Nana plush set, from the anime based on the manga Nana by Ai Yazawa. Ai Yazawa is so great. Really. Start releasing Nana manga again!!
Nana is so cute. Y'know, in that rocker-turned-plush kind of way. I really love how they did the eyes, and that they were stitched. She's even got her earrings and a little belt! Her boots/coat have a plastic coating on them, but they're still perfect. I feel like this is also the kind of plush that you could hang in your car window and people that didn't even know what it was or what it was from would still like it. Nana's a cool chick, after all. (ALL NANAs SOLD! No more of this cutie! ;A;)
Hachi, the dog. She is super cute, though I kind of wish they didn't give her the dog tail/ears. It doesn't match with the set quite as well, though of course if you got plush from the series you'd need to collect her as she's one of the main characters. SOLD
Nobu. I like how they did his hair. I'm reminded that sometimes plush can go in the wrong direction with spikey hair, a la Tasuki from Fushigi Yugi. I like how his eyes are so clear and his eyebrows are a bit darker than his hair color. SOLD
Yasu. For a bald plush... pretty darn cute! The plastic on his shades tends to separate from the cloth underneath, but nothing some fabric glue wouldn't set straight. I think it's a common problem, as I have a double of him and they're both the same. So, I guess the question is... does he have eyes under there? Guess you need to own him to find out XD SOLD
Shin! He looks like a girl, doesn't he?? He's got awesome plaid pants, shoes with fringe, Vivienne Westwood necklace, lip piercing and load of earrings. You can tell a lot of thought went into how to approach his spikey hair, and the decision was a row of spikes standing up, and the rest stuffed shaped plush. Works out a heck of a lot better than Killua's hair from Hunter x Hunter. SOLD
Altogether, a great set with lots of attention to detail. I like how they made them with big heads/little bodies instead of making it too literal. I remember when this was released it was kind of hard to find. I couldn't get them through my usual sources. I don't know if they made less of them, or that it was thought they wouldn't sell well. In any case, it was a good thing I knew they were released or I may have missed them. I don't see them around much, I saw one sell (Yasu, and Hachi, I think?) for $40/ea on ebay after a small bidding war about a year ago.
Edit: I sold one set for $150 the other day (9/2015), sold Nana and Hachiko extras for $35/ea. I have 1 full set left Nana is gone now so I don't have the full set left anymore, they are getting lots of inquiries so if you want them I suggest to nab them soon!
Edit 12/2015: ALL NANA PLUSH ARE NOW SOLD AND ENJOYING HAPPY NEW HOMES! Thank you everyone for adopting them!

Azumanga Daioh UFO Catcher Plush sets (Original, Buru Buru, Toy Works Cats)
After being away for a few days I had to rest a bit to fight off whatever cold was nipping at me, and I took some shots that were requested of me... Azumanga, Slayers, Mononoke, and Nana! This first post will be about Azumanga!
So, I guess I'll start with the Azumanga school set by SEGA (Yomi, Osaka, Tomo, Sakaki, Kagura, Chiyo):
I really love chiyo the best in this set! She's so cute and smaller than the rest (as she should be) but plush don't always abide by those rules, of who is taller/shorter. Yomi has a small scratch across the plastic in her eye. I must say, with plush I really hate when they use plastic. It doesn't keep as well as other materials unless you take care to keep an eye on it (see how the weather is effecting it, make sure that it's not sticking to anything that's touching it, etc). But, so darn cute! Totally worth it!
Buru-Buru Plush set SEGA 2002 (Sakaki & kamineko, Chiyo, Chiyo's 'dad', Osaka):
AHAHA!! This is a fantastic ode to Azuma's great art; the expressions he slaps on his characters! I've been reading Yotsuba and it's steeped in amazingly hilarious facial expressions. I love Osaka's blank face. When you pull the cord at the top of their heads, they 'buru-buru' (vibrate). Unfortunately, Chiyo's dad has a little loss on his eyes. If I remember right, I bought him that way. Price you pay to get the rare ones!
Azumanga ToyWorks Cat set:
HOW GREAT IS THIS CHIYO DAD PLUSH?? And he's HUUUGE! Bigger than a DX plush. Great quality, you can bend his arms (I made him waving ahaha). The stitching is perfect. This is one of those plush that is VERY hard for me to sell or think about selling. He's also one of the most expensive and rare I own, clocking it at around $450-550 depending on the seller/buyer.
Yamamaya! Another painful sale. And another of my rarest, most expensive plush. I think he goes for $350-450. I love how the color stripe on the inside of his ear is lighter than the rest of his stripes. Again, such nice quality! Look at that face...
Smiling nekokoneko! I love how these look just like they should. The baby one stays on top with a patch of velcro attached to its belly. Again, pricey, yikes! Around $200-$250 last time I checked.
Now sleeping XD. I like how their feet are tucked under them, how cute!
Biting kamikeno! Don't pet him, Sakaki! Ouch! X_X
Kamineko Smiling. He's got wire in his tail, so I like to bend it! He's rather front-heavy due to his head. The frontal picture of him (and most of the cats) looks funny as their heads are so big!!
I really think that it's one of those sets that's not only hard to find, but expensive, so I imagine most people collect it a plush at a time. I can't quite remember, but I think I got 2 or 3 separate, and the rest all together around the time of release or a bit later. They were still expensive then, and I think that is just the case with most plush that are NOT prize items and are actually sold in stores. The quality is so much better that way as well.

Jess Sells Her Stuff
This is a blog specifically about my selling my stuff. After a while, you just accumulate too much! I didn't fully realize this until I moved in with my boyfriend. Moving all of my things was an unbelievable undertaking... packing figures back in their boxes carefully, then those without boxes to be wrapped and carefully packed, carefully, carefully. The sheer amount of time it took was mind blowing, and made me think, "Do I really need all this stuff?" To add a touch of tragedy to it, most of my collectibles were already packed up, and hadn't seen the light of day in at least 8 years. I got to thinking that, I should pick and choose, and the rest should be sold to collectors that could enjoy them more.
We all remember our 'holy grail' moments, where you FINALLY tracked down the rare of a set, hotly anticipating its arrival and the immense satisfaction that washes over you with the acquisition of this rare piece. I feel it's time to give those sensations to someone else. I remember how I got almost every collectible I own, every one has a story. It is really hard to part with some when the memories rush back, but, it is time.
Please, please give my items a good, loving, appreciative new home.
